Police: Arrest made in Morrisania hotel rape

THE BRONX - Police have arrested the man who they say raped a woman at a hotel in Morrisania.

According to authorities, the victim had a short conversation with 27-year-old Ivan Jones, of The Bronx, while at the Union Square subway station in Manhattan before taking the train to her hotel. They say Jones later forced his way into her room.

Jones faces several charges, including rape, robbery and strangulation.
