Police: Arrest made in weekend assault on East 149th St.

THE BRONX - Police say they've made an arrest in connection with a Sunday afternoon assault at the intersection of East 149th Street and Third Avenue.

Police say they've arrested 57-year-old Jerry Mason in connection with the assault of a 56-year-old man.

Investigators say they still do not have a motive for the assault.

The victim is in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital, according to authorities.
