Police arrest suspect in fatal BX speeding accident

FORDHAM - Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection to a fatal crash that took the lives of two Bronx teenagers.

The suspect has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, vehicular manslaughter, reckless endangerment and reckless driving. The accident, which occurred earlier this month, killed the car's passengers, Klaudio Simoni, 19, and Rudi Drekaj, 15. Police say the driver was speeding on westbound Fordham Road when he clipped a truck near the Southern Boulevard overpass. The driver of the truck is recovering. The driver of the other car is in critical condition. The district attorney said the driver of the speeding car is expected to be arraigned next week.Friends, family mourn teens killed in car crash
