Police: Bronx bank robbed for third time

THE BRONX - Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Capital One bank in Westchester Square yesterday.

The robbery marks the third at the same bank this year, authorities say.

According to police, a man in his 50s walked into the bank, pulled out a weapon and demanded money. They say he is described as bearded, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a gray bag.

There were no injuries and police are unsure how much cash the thief stole. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
