Police: BX woman found dead; boyfriend kills self

THE BRONX - Police say a body found in upstate Dutchess County last week has been identified as a missing Bronx woman.

Firefighters say they found the body of Jasmine Maxine Nunez, 22, when they were called to put out a brush fire on June 12 at a state park in the town of LaGrange.

Investigators say they believe the last person to see Nunez alive was her live-in boyfriend, 26-year-old Andres Ceballos. Ceballos fatally shot himself in Virginia on Monday after a police pursuit, according to officials.

Police have not said if Ceballos has been positively linked to Nunez's death. The couple's Webster Avenue apartment remains closed off as the investigation continues.Body of Bronx woman found in Dutchess Co. state park
