Police: Drugs, weapons seized in Bainbridge raid

BAINBRIDGE - Police say they found a stash of weapons and drugs during a raid of a suspected cocaine distributor's Bronx apartment today.

According to police, the weapons were seized from Victor and Tonin Miri's apartment on Villa Avenue in Bainbridge.

Officers say they found ammunition, night-vision goggles, binoculars and other equipment.  They say they also found 12 firearms, explosives and bulletproof vests.

Both men have been arraigned and are facing criminal weapon and drug possession charges.

The bust comes on the heels of one of the city's largest heroin busts.  Police say they caught two men with more than $10 million worth of heroin at an apartment on Bronx Park East.
