Police hunt suspect in 2 sexual assaults

THE BRONX - Police are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted two females near the Grand Concourse.

According to police, the first incident took place May 10, when the suspect approached an 18-year-old woman near the Grand Concourse and Kingsbridge Road. Police say the man told the woman he had a gun, forced her into an abandoned building and assaulted her.

Police say the same man struck again May 19 and assaulted a 17-year-old girl in the vicinity of the first crime.

Anyone with information about the attacks is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
