THE BRONX - Police have identified the victim and alleged attacker involved in a school bus assault Monday morning.

According to police, surveillance video shows 65-year-old Juan Del Valle being beat to the ground by 30-year-old Joseph Scott.

Del Valle has worked as a school bus driver for the Atlantic Express Transportation Group since 2004. According to officials, Del Valle had just finished his rounds when he allegedly clipped Scott's car.

Witnesses say things got out of hand when Scott got out of the car to confront the elderly driver. Police say that Scott has more than 20 arrests for assault and drugs in the last 12 years. He was taken into custody a couple of hours after the incident.

Del Valle remains in a coma at St. Barnabas Hospital.
