THE BRONX - Police have identified the man behind a subway stabbing in the Bronx.

According to authorities, William Quinones approached a 25-year-old on the 2 train at East 149th Street and 3rd Avenue in December.

They say the two got into an altercation, and Quinones stabbed the other man multiple times in the torso.

The victim is recovering at Lincoln Hospital.
