Police investigate 2 shootings on East Gun Hill Road in Williamsbridge
THE BRONX - Police are investigating two separate overnight shootings in Williamsbridge.
The first occurred at a Gulf gas station located at 1255 East Gun Hill Road at around 1 a.m. Saturday. Police say two men hanging out in front of the station's store were attacked by a large group of men in what they are calling a gang assault. A man with dreadlocks allegedly shot one of the victims in the torso before the group ran away.
Police say the victims are both 25 years old. The victim who was shot was treated at Jacobi Medical Center. The other was treated at the scene.

The second shooting took place just blocks away, at the intersection of East Gun Hill Road and Burke Avenue. Police say a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg by a suspect wearing a black jacket and orange hooded sweatshirt. The victim was also taken to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to be OK.
