THE BRONX - Police are investigating a shooting that has left one man dead in the Bronx.

They say a 22-year-old man was fatally shot in the head and torso on Rev. James A. Polite Avenue. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

The shooting occurred just half a block from Bronx Regional High School.

Police say another person was shot in the groin, but was able to flee the scene and call authorities.
