Police investigate shooting spree across The Bronx

THE BRONX - Police are continuing to investigate after they say a man opened fire in multiple locations throughout The Bronx, leaving two people injured, on Oct. 30.

Officials say the man fired two rounds into the air and then another into a restaurant on 149th Street before dashing off. They say no one was injured in the restaurant.

He then shot a woman in the leg on Walton Avenue before going into a McDonald's where he stole food off the counter, according to investigators.

Police say he then shot a bouncer at a bar in the arm on Mount Eden Parkway and ran off.

Authorities say they are unsure why the man opened fire or targeted the two individuals that he injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
