MOUNT EDEN - A man has been hospitalized after police say he was assaulted early this morning in Mount Eden.

The incident happened at the corner of Rockwood Street and the Grand Concourse.

Police say two men armed with wooden poles beat the 28-year-old victim. He was taken to Lebanon Hospital, where he's in serious condition.
