THE BRONX - A man attacked a 71-year-old man in a grocery store last month, according to police.

They say the incident happened Aug. 26 in the B&G grocery store on East 167th Street.

Officials say the victim, who suffered multiple skull fractures, followed the attacker on Clay Avenue. They say the suspect demanded cash from the elderly man and that when the man refused, the attacker started to beat him.

The suspect also took the man's wallet, which contained $500 and a credit card.

The store's owner says he was able to catch the attack on camera and showed it to police.
