THE BRONX - Officials say a man died after he was hit by three different cars Friday.

Police say a 52-year-old man was crossing the street at Wythe Place and 170th Street when the first car struck him and then fled the scene.

As the victim was laying in the street, a second car hit him and also fled, according to police.

A third car then struck the man, but stopped at the scene. That driver called police.

The victim was taken to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
