PARKCHESTER - Police say a Bronx man was killed early Sunday in a hit-and-run crash in Parkchester.

According to authorities, a driver in a silver-colored vehicle traveling southbound on Metropolitan Avenue struck the man at around 2:30 a.m. near Wood Avenue and fled the scene. Police say the name of the victim has not been released.

Officers ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-277-TIPS.
