THE BRONX - A robbery suspect punched a 6-year-old in the head, police say.

It happened at a laundromat at 17-20 Boone Ave., after the suspect tried to sell the child's 22-year-old mother DVDs.

The woman says she told the man she wasn't interested, and then he grabbed her phone and tried to run.

She grabbed him, but she says he broke free and then punched her child. She says she chased him and was able to wrestle back her phone before he fled.
