Police: Man robbed by acquaintance

THE BRONX - Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery where they believe the robber knew the victim.

Police accused 30-year-old Lamont Tate of allegedly robbing a home last Wednesday in the confines of the 42nd precinct.

Police say Tate and the victim met the night before the incident. According to police, Tate spent the night at the home, left the next morning and returned later to rob the home.
