Police: Man stole cash from Bronx discount store

Police are looking for a man who stole cash from a discount store in the Bronx. It happened on May 21 around at 5:30 p.m.

THE BRONX - Police are looking for a man who stole cash from a discount store in the Bronx. 

It happened on May 21 around at 5:30 p.m. inside the Double Discount store on 1024 Westchetser Ave.

Police say the man walked into the back office of the store and removed an undetermined amount of cash from an open safe. 

They say he is described as being a 45-year-old man, 5'10'' tall, 200 pounds and was last seen wearing black sneakers, a black shirt and dark blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
