THE BRONX - Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding the culprit who stole merchandise from an apartment building.

Police say a male suspect forced open the lobby door of the 1779 Southern Blvd. building on June 14 and headed to the basement.

They say the man made off with construction tools and a 24-inch TV.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
