Police nab suspect in Throgs Neck robbery

THE BRONX - Police say they arrested one of two suspects in a violent Throgs Neck home invasion following a high-speed chase Thursday.

According to eyewitnesses, police pursued the man to Kingsbridge where his car slammed into two other vehicles. They say the man then jumped out of his car and attempted to flee, but was apprehended by officers.

The three victims of the armed robbery were taken to the hospital to be treated for head injuries. The owner of the building where the invasion took place says the perpetrators entered a locked front door, which showed no signs of forced entry.
