Police probe attempted pharmacy break-in

Police say they're on the hunt for suspects who tried to break through a wall to get into a pharmacy, apparently to steal drugs. Investigators

THE BRONX - Police say they're on the hunt for suspects who tried to break through a wall to get into a pharmacy, apparently to steal drugs. Investigators say Dr. Hamin Nikkah arrived to find his Norwood Ob-Gyn office ransacked this morning. Debris and medical files were scattered all over the floor. Police say the suspects appear to have been trying to get into the pharmacy next door, but gave up when they couldn't get through a concrete wall. According to police, the burglars had tried to enter the pharmacy first, using tools and a ladder to try to remove window guards. Authorities say nothing was reported stolen from the doctor's office. They say fingerprints were collected from the office, and the investigation is ongoing.
