THE BRONX - ? Authorities are probing the death of a 9-month-old child, which they say has been ruled a homicide.

Police responded to a 911 call Saturday and found 9-month-old Neveah Jackson unconscious at her father?s home.

According to the medical examiner, the cause of the death was blunt impact injuries to the head, including skull fractures and brain injuries.

Jackson?s father told officials his daughter hit her head against a desk, however, investigators say his story doesn?t match up with the medical examiner?s findings.
