Police probe livery cab robbery in The Bronx

THE BRONX - Police are investigating after a livery cab driver was robbed by a couple with an infant with them on Wednesday.

Officials say Paulino De La Cruz was beaten and robbed by the couple. He suffered head injuries as a result of the beating and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center.

Many fellow livery drivers say they would never imagine someone with an infant with them would ever do something like that.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
