Police probe string of attacks, robberies

THE BRONX - Police say they are investigating a string of attacks and robberies reported near Williamsbridge Oval Park.

According to authorities, there have been at least five muggings in the area since Sept. 8. They say they're searching for two men who allegedly approach their victims from behind, put them in a choke hold and rob them.

Officials say one suspect is described as Hispanic and the other African-American. They say both are believed to be between 16 and 18 years old.
