THE BRONX - Police have released photos of a man believed to be behind the shooting of a 24-year-old man Friday.

As News 12 reported, the victim was shot several times in the torso on Walton Avenue. He was taken to the hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

Witnesses told News 12 they saw a man pull out a knife during an argument, and then another man ran into a building and brought out a gun.

Police say the suspect fled southbound on Walton Avenue with the gun in his hand.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, and was last seen wearing white shorts, a white shirt and black sneakers.
