Police search for 2 burglars posing as Con Ed men

THE BRONX - Police are looking for two suspects who are burglarizing elderly people in the Bronx posing as workers from Con Ed.

Police say the suspects gain access to the homes by saying they need to check the water pressure. One victim asks to see the water meter while the other ransacks the home for valuables and cash, according to police.

Police say the suspects have been targeting those over 69 years of age. They are allegedly involved in at least six robberies in our borough.
