Police search for Co-op City bank robber

CO-OP CITY - Authorities are searching for a man they say robbed a bank on Co-op City Boulevard.

Police say the man walked into a Capital One Bank on Oct. 7 and passed the teller a note demanding cash. The suspect, who police say is a black man between the ages of 30 and 35, then fled after getting the money.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
