Police search for female suspect in slashing near subway station

THE BRONX - Police say they are searching for a suspect who slashed a man near the 174th Street subway station Sunday morning.

A 52-year-old man was the victim of the slashing that took place at East 174th Street and Boston Road. He is currently in stable condition with lacerations to the head and chest, according to NYPD officers.

They say that the female suspect knew the man prior to the slashing, but they do not know what prompted the incident.
