Police search for man accused of opening fire on Hughes Avenue

THE BRONX - Police say a gunman who opened fire Saturday night on Hughes Avenue is still on the loose.

They say the suspect began shooting on the front steps of a home at another man after a fight broke out.

The 27-year-old victim was shot three times in the torso. He was brought to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Police describe the suspect as being of medium build, having medium complexion and two long braids. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap.
