THE BRONX - Police have released pictures of a group of men that they say posed as workers and then robbed five Bronx homes since December.

Officials say the men targeted elderly people and claimed that they worked for the water department and gained entry into the homes.

According to police, one person would knock on the door and distract the resident, while the other men would go inside the home and steal valuables.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
