Police search for suspects in separate BX shootings

THE BRONX - Police are looking for suspects in two separate Bronx shootings on Sunday.

According to authorities, a 26-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head at around 5 a.m. on East 156th Street in Melrose. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital and pronounced dead.

Cops say a 17-year-old boy was also shot in the early morning hours on White Plains Road and Westchester Avenue in Parkchester. He was rushed Jacobi Medical Center unconscious.

Anyone with information on either of the shootings is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
