Police search for suspects linked to Mount Hope bodega robbery

THE BRONX - Police are searching for the suspects who they believe could be connected to a robbery spree.

Police say there have been eight bodega robberies in the borough, most recently at a Mount Hope location.

The bodega owner at Barbara Deli and Grocery at 138 East 177th St. says two masked men approached him armed with a gun, they demanded money and took $1,400 cash from the register.

Police have not confirmed whether the Mount Hope robbery is connected to the eight others.
