THE BRONX - As a Bronx family mourns the loss of their loved one, police are still searching for the driver that struck and killed him as he tried to cross the Mosholu Parkway yesterday morning.

Josbel Rivera, 23, was hit by a car as he crossed the Moshulu Parkway near Paul Avenue before 5 a.m. yesterday. Rivera's brothers say he was committed to his family and became a father figure to them after their own father died six years ago.

The driver fled the scene and police are asking for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
