The search is on for three suspects wanted

The search is on for three suspects wanted for assaulting a homeless man outside a church.

THE BRONX - Police are asking the public for help finding three suspects wanted for assaulting a homeless man on the steps of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church on University Avenue.

The beating was recorded on video surveillance. It shows a man peacefully sleeping when three men approach and start kicking him in the head. The suspects leave, but one of them comes back and kicks the victim in the head again.

The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
