Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a man in Fordham overnight.Investigators say a 42-year-old man was crossing the street at Webster Avenue

THE BRONX - Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a man in Fordham overnight.

Investigators say a 42-year-old man was crossing the street at Webster Avenue and 189th Street last night when he was hit by a car, which then took off.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
