Police seek man who attacked, robbed senior

THE BRONX - Police are searching for a man who they say beat up and robbed an 81-year-old man in Parkchetser Thursday.The incident happened on Unionport Road near Metropolitan Avenue. Investigators say a surveillance video shows the suspect putting Jose Rodriguez in a choke hold before proceeding to punch and kick him. Police say the robber got away with $30 in cash. The victim suffered only minor injuries. The suspect is described as a man between 17 and 20 years old. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
