Police seek suspect in Mt. Eden robberies

MOUNT EDEN - Police are searching for the man behind an armed robbery spree in the Bronx that targeted several stores in Mt. Eden.

Police say the suspect robbed the same deli on East 170th Street three times in just over a month, as well as another business down the street.

The first robbery happened on August 17 at Golden Super Deli at around 5:30 a.m. Police say they believe the same suspect also robbed a Laundromat down the block two days later. Authorities say the suspect returned to rob the deli this past Thursday and Friday.

Police say they believe the suspect is a black male between the ages of 16 and 19, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and between 130 and 150 pounds.
