Police: Shooting on Baker Avenue puts 2 Bronx teens in hospital

THE BRONX - Two Bronx teens were hospitalized after a shooting on Baker Avenue on Friday night.

Police say the teens were shot at 633 Baker Ave. at around 7:00 p.m.

Authorities say an 18-year-old was shot in the groin and a 19-year-old was shot in the stomach. Both were rushed to Albert Einstein Hospital.

SWAT team members, NYPD officers and emergency crews all responded to the scene.

Police say they are investigating the shooting. The two teens are expected to recover.
