THE BRONX - Police took steps to help protect residents' belongings today at a Crime Prevention Workshop on Hollywood Avenue in Throgs Neck.

Police offered free VIN etchings on cars to as a safeguard against auto theft.

Police also registered iPads, cell phones and bikes at the event.

The free workshop was sponsored by the 45th Precinct and by Councilman James Vacca.
