Police: Suspect attacked, robbed 72-year-old man

Police are searching for the suspect who beat up and robbed a 72-year-old man.

The suspect allegedly punched and kicked the victim to the ground and then stole his wallet.

THE BRONX - Police are searching for the suspect who beat up and robbed a 72-year-old man.

The incident happened on Barker Avenue on Friday around 3 a.m.

Police say the victim was walking toward the Allerton Avenue subway station to go to work when the suspect attacked him.

The suspect allegedly punched and kicked the victim to the ground and then stole his wallet.

The victim sustained a broken eye socket, among other injuries.
