Police: Teen charged in fatal Webster Avenue shooting

THE BRONX - A teenager is behind bars for the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old Bronx man on Webster Avenue in Fordham Wednesday night.

According to investigators, 18-year-old Darell Patillo has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of Jonathan Lewis. They say Patillo was found with a .38-caliber revolver hiding under a nearby van.

Loved ones say Lewis was at the scene to attend a birthday memorial for a friend who was gunned down in the same location last year.

Cops have not released a possible motive for the shooting.
