MORRIS HEIGHTS - Police are warning Morris Heights residents to be careful amid a series of recent robberies targeting the elderly.

Two suspects have been knocking on the doors of elderly residents and claiming to be maintenance workers or water company employees. Police say they then go through the house and steal money and jewelry. Three robberies have been reported this month in Morris Heights.

The suspects are believed to be in their 30s and they're described as being about 5 feet 10 inches tall.
