Police van crash in Mott Haven injures 4

An undercover police van crashed into a civilian truck in Mott Haven Wednesday morning, injuring three officers and one person.The crash occurred at the intersection

THE BRONX - An undercover police van crashed into a civilian truck in Mott Haven Wednesday morning, injuring three officers and one person.

The crash occurred at the intersection of East 141st Street and Brooke Avenue at around 11 a.m. Officials say three police officers sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the truck had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life. All four were taken to Lincoln Hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
