THE BRONX - Police are searching for a man they say shot a woman in broad daylight yesterday in Melrose.

Officials say that the 31-year-old woman was shot in the arm at the intersection of Morris Avenue and East 162nd Street at around 1:45 p.m.

Investigators say they believe the suspect was shooting at another person.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
