THE BRONX - A woman who allegedly walked into a pet store and demanded cash was caught on surveillance video, police say.

An employee at Popcorn Paws on West 231st Street says the alleged thief entered the store Monday night walking with a cane.

The store's assistant manager says the female suspect handed her a note instructing her to fill a bag with cash.

In addition to carrying the cane, the suspect is described as a woman in her 40s, wearing a black hoodie and carrying a beige bag over one shoulder.
