THE BRONX - Nearly 100 residents were without power Friday morning after a manhole fire.

The fire occurred just before 10 p.m. Thursday on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Neighbors say they felt their apartments shake.

Con Edison crews brought in special equipment to restore power to affected customers Friday afternoon.
