THE BRONX - Clergy and community members held a prayer rally outside the Bronx Hall of Justice today for a 64-year-old nursing home patient who police say was sexually assaulted in her hospital bed.

The victim's daughter, Loida Rivera, says her mother was raped at the Manhattanville Health Care Center in February. The suspect, Nanic Aidasani, was in court today.

Rivera spoke on behalf of her mother after the hearing. She says her mother, who has dementia, is now getting 24-hour care at her home and is still traumatized by what happened to her.
