THE BRONX - President Barack Obama laid out his plan for immigration reform this afternoon at the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas, saying the current immigration system is broken.
During his speech, the president talked about strengthening border controls and creating a system to offer citizenship for undocumented immigrants in the U.S.
Obama also urged Republicans to get on board and help fix it.
In The Bronx, undocumented Lehman College students criticized Obama, saying he isn't doing enough to pass the ?Dream Act,? a federal law that would allow undocumented immigrants who graduate from college to become citizens.
