Private info stolen from Throgs Neck counseling center

THE BRONX - A desktop computer containing private patient information was stolen from the Counseling and Psychotherapy of Throgs Neck on Sept. 6.

Officials say the computer contained a patient database with full names, Social Security numbers, diagnosis and insurance information.

The center is warning all patients to be wary of identity theft. Police are investigating the theft.
